for the weekend; as space on the island is limited,
we are only able to include the guests named on your invitation.
If possible, we would be grateful for an EARLY RSVP, as it will help us thoughtfully coordinate room assignments and weekend details.

Hosted by the Ontjes family, the rehearsal dinner will be an intimate dinner for our immediate family and bridal party, featuring Bahamian cuisine and island-inspired beverages as we kick-off the wedding weekend.

Bondi’s Beach Club
1:30-5:30pm EST at Coral Sands Pool and Beach
Join us for a fun-filled beach-club afternoon at Coral Sands energized by DJ Jamaal’s beats. We’ll start poolside for lunch, then head to the beach for swimming, games, and sun-soaked fun. Expect casual bites throughout the day, and beer, wine, seltzers, and signature cocktails flowing.
Attire: Chic beach club or resort wear. Swimsuits encouraged.

Wedding celebrations
Ceremony and Cocktail Hour
5:00pm at Gecko Hill
We’ll exchange vows at Gecko Hill in an unplugged ceremony, overlooking the ocean, with pre-ceremony songs performed by Anne Teeling, Marie’s longtime friend and professional opera singer. Please plan to arrive early to allow time for golf cart parking at Gecko Hill and a pre-ceremony drink.
After the ceremony, enjoy cocktails and light bites while listening to live music.
Then hop in your golf cart and join the festive golf cart parade to Coral Sands for the reception.
Attire: Island Formal — elevated, elegant, and island-appropriate.
Dinner and Dancing
Coral Sands
As the sun sets, join us for an unforgettable dinner on the beach under a tent at Coral Sands. We’ll celebrate with great food, heartfelt moments, and live music, including father/daughter and mother/son dances.
Note: Dinner will take place directly on the sand—consider beach-friendly footwear.
After dinner, the celebration continues at the Coral Sands Beach Bar. Expect high-energy dancing, Essence Band from Nassau, and a dessert station to keep the party going as the moon rises.

Farewell Brunch

Join us for a relaxed farewell brunch at The Pink Mermaid at Coral Sands Resort. Stop by for coffee, light bites, and grab-and-go options plus one last hug before heading home. It’s a casual, come-and-go sendoff to close out an unforgettable weekend together.
Departure Note: Please plan to leave Harbour Island at least two hours before your flight, as the airport requires check-in one hour prior to boarding.
